Song of Northern States—Social Work

Today one of my kids
told me he was moving
back to Minnesota and
if I was ever in the area
to come by and visit him.
That they’d be in the two houses
that were right next to each other
with the big tire in front. He seemed
so earnest and sincere I couldn’t help
but to reply that if I was ever in the area
I would come on by to pay him a visit
but that I couldn’t make any promises.
He seemed more than satisfied with this
and I felt very pleased that he seemed so
happy to be moving back to the two houses
that were right next to each other
which had that big tire in front.
